After spending last week upgrading the outfield, Milwaukee Brewers general manager David Stearns has switched his focus to the bullpen.

The Brewers reportedly agreed to a two-year, $5-million deal with reliever Matt Albers on Monday, a source told Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.

Albers is coming off the best season of his 12-year career, posting a 1.62 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, and 63 strikeouts in 61 innings with the Washington Nationals.

The 35-year-old is certainly well traveled; the Brewers represent his eighth MLB club.
