Watch: Cubs fan makes incredible one-handed grab on Rizzo's 2-run HR
Brad Mills / USA TODAY Sports
This Chicago Cubs fan is putting the team on his back, one barehanded snag at a time.
The impressive grab came in the bottom of the fourth inning courtesy of an Anthony Rizzo two-run bomb, which appeared to be just short of clearing the fence. Initially ruled a home run, umpires reviewed the play to ensure the fan didn't interfere, and ultimately upheld the home run call.
The blast, which came off southpaw Gio Gonzalez, was Rizzo's sixth career postseason home run, surpassing Kris Bryant, Kyle Schwarber, and Dexter Fowler for most in franchise history. Since 2014, Rizzo is also second among left-handed batters for most home runs (33) off a lefty pitcher.
