Watch: Bregman, Altuve hit back-to-back HRs off Sale
Troy Taormina / USA TODAY Sports

Chris Sale's postseason debut didn't get off to the best start.

After striking out Houston Astros outfielder George Springer to lead off Game 1 of the American League Division Series, the Boston Red Sox left-hander surrendered back-to-back home runs to Alex Bregman and Jose Altuve, giving Houston an early 2-0 lead.

Bregman's home run was measured at 400 feet, while Jose Altuve's came in at 389 feet.

It's the second time the Astros have hit back-to-back home runs in a postseason game in franchise history.
