Los Angeles Dodgers rookie sensation Cody Bellinger continued his breakout campaign Saturday with his 35th home run of 2017, tying the franchise record for most dingers by a rookie.
The record was owned by Mike Piazza, who set it back in 1993, before Bellinger's custom loopy swing connected on Clayton Richard's first pitch of the fourth inning.
Bellinger is also on pace to break Piazza's rookie slugging percentage record (.561), after entering Saturday's contest against the San Diego Padres slugging .598.
