The injury bug continues to ravage the Toronto Blue Jays as the club placed catcher Russell Martin on the 10-day disabled list Saturday with a left oblique strain.

Martin exited Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates at the start of the second inning after making a few warmup throws. He was replaced by Raffy Lopez.

With Martin sidelined, the Blue Jays now have their top three catchers on the disabled list. Miguel Montero is dealing with a strained groin, while Luke Maile has been out since early July with knee inflammation.

Mike Ohlman was called up to take Martin's place on the roster. He went 2-for-9 with three strikeouts in a previous stint with Toronto this season, and is hitting .222/.343/.418 with 12 home runs and 105 strikeouts in 82 games in Triple-A.
