Michael Blazek's first major-league start did not go well.
The Washington Nationals' Brian Goodwin, Wilmer Difo, Bryce Harper, and Ryan Zimmerman went back-to-back-to-back-to-back in the third inning off the Milwaukee Brewers right-hander on Thursday.
It was Harper's second home run of the day.
One batter later, Anthony Rendon would hit the fifth home run of the inning, tying a major-league record, according to Chelsea Jane of the Washington Post.
Blazek was given the hook after giving up eight earned runs in 2 1/3 innings.
It's the first time a team has combined to hit four straight home runs since Adam LaRoche, Miguel Montero, Mark Reynolds, and Stephen Drew did it in 2010 as members of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
