Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto understood the significance of Friday's game for the club's stadium announcer, Joe Zerhusen, and made sure to salute him prior to his first at-bat.
Zerhusen was making his return to Great American Ballpark after being off while undergoing treatment for cancer.
