Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona was forced to leave Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers with an illness, according to Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com.
Reporters were informed by the team that Francona departed in the later innings but would not release details of his current condition.
Last season, Francona missed a game on Aug. 9 after he experienced chest pains. He was examined by the medical staff and returned the following day.
