The New York Yankees have officially introduced a cheering section for their lovable behemoth of a man in right field, Aaron Judge.
Judge has taken the baseball world by storm this season, having already hit 15 home runs in his rookie campaign. Though he is teetering on the mark, Judge is just one of three remaining qualified hitters with a wRC+ of 200 or higher, joined only by Mike Trout and the sidelined Freddie Freeman.
Yankees fans have taken to the 6-foot-7, 275-pound Judge pretty vigorously, creating an impromptu cheering section where fans dressed up as judges, complete with barrister wigs. They'll have a place with more permanence now, in the world's only Judge's Chambers where hot dogs and other sandwiches are likely mandatory accouterments.
