Here is a look at the Squad Up daily MLB fantasy picture for the five-game slate beginning at 9:40 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 16:
Hitter Stacks
- Milwaukee Brewers at San Diego Padres (LHP Clayton Richard): The Brewers rank second in team wOBA against left-handed pitching at .363. A trio of low-cost right-handed hitters form a formidable stack in the strong side of their splits. Richard has allowed 150 right-handed batters to slash .326/.393/.545 and post a cumulative .400 wOBA.
3-player stack: 3B Hernan Perez (48K), OF Domingo Santana (50K), SS Orlando Arcia (38K)
- Seattle Mariners vs. Oakland Athletics (RHP Andrew Triggs): The Mariners will regain the services of 2B Robinson Cano on Tuesday, bolstering a lineup ranked eighth in wOBA vs. right-handed pitching. Cano isn't available on Squad Up, but he provides a boost to all hitters around him in the order. Triggs has allowed just one home run in 40 2/3 innings. The Mariners 10th-ranked fly-ball rate could cause the coming regression.
3-player stack: SS Jean Segura (55K), OF Ben Gamel (51K), 3B Kyle Seager (58K)
- Oakland Athletics at Seattle Mariners (RHP Chase De Jong): The Athletics have the highest fly-ball percentage and fourth-ranked hard-hit percentage against right-handed pitchers. De Jong allowed a home run in each of his past three starts, allowing six earned runs and at least seven hits in two of the three. He is walking more batters than he's striking out.
3-player stack: 1B Yonder Alonso (54K), 2B Jed Lowrie (52K), C Stephen Vogt (49K)

- TARGET - RHP J.C. Ramirez (68K), Angels (vs. White Sox): Ramirez is striking out 8.19 hitters and walking just 2.66 per nine innings through six starts, nine appearances and 40 2/3 innings. He is holding hitters to 1.11 homers per nine, and his 4.20 ERA improves to a 3.77 xFIP. The White Sox rank 29th in team wOBA versus righties.
- BARGAIN - LHP Derek Holland (35K), White Sox (at Angels): Holland sports a lucky 2.43 ERA which comes with the warning of a 5.15 xFIP. He is allowing 38.3 percent hard contact and giving up 47.5 percent fly balls. The Angels rank 24th in wOBA, 26th in fly-ball percentage and 21st in hard-hit percentage, against left-handed pitching. Holland won't need as much luck as he has been receiving.
- FADE - LHP Tommy Milone (63K), Mets (at Diamondbacks): Milone is walking just 1.38 hitters per nine innings, but his 2.42 home runs allowed per nine won't play well at hitter-friendly Chase Field. The Diamondbacks .309 wOBA against lefties ranks 15th, but they move up to 12th in slugging percentage and 13th in hard-hit rate.
- CONTRARIAN - RHP Jimmy Nelson (66K), Brewers (at Padres): Nelson is allowing 0.94 home runs per nine at a league-average, but career-best rate of 10.0 percent home run to fly ball. Nelson pitched consecutive scoreless outings in Milwaukee and at Pittsburgh.
Bargain Plays

- 3B Christian Arroyo (38K), Giants (vs. Dodgers): LHP Rich Hill returns from injury to start for the Dodgers, Tuesday night. He has been sidelined since April 16 by a blister. Arroyo is slashing .323/.344/.419 through 32 PAs against lefties. He went 1-for-15 in his past three starts, but he has drawn three walks and struck out just twice.
- SS Nick Ahmed (42K), Diamondbacks (vs. Mets): Ahmed owns a .400/.483/.680 slash line through 29 PAs versus left-handed pitching. He has drawn four walks to five strikeouts. Milone's weakness were outlined above, and signal the upside of a bargain option such as Ahmed.
- C Austin Hedges (44K), Padres (vs. Brewers): Hedges leads all catchers with eight home runs on the season. His 24.6 percent strikeout rate isn't too alarming, though he is also suffering from a .215 BABIP. Nothing is guaranteed at catcher at a price below Giants C Buster Posey, so target the elite upside of Hedges.
Top Fades

- OF Kole Calhoun (59K), Angels (vs. White Sox): The Angels have two better outfield options to choose from in Mike Trout and Cameron Maybin. Calhoun is hitting just .114 against lefties, with one homer, one double and two singles.
- 3B Ryon Healy (53K), Athletics (at Mariners): Healy had a strong start to the 2017 season, but he has four strikeouts and no walks in his past three games. He has four hits, but just one double. He is hitting .200 through 111 PAs against righties, drawing a mere six walks to 30 strikeouts.
- 2B Jonathan Villar (56K), Brewers (at Padres): Though he's a switch-hitter, Villar is averaging just .175 against southpaws this season. He has just one homer and three doubles in 46 PAs. Leave him out of stacks targeting Richard, who struggles desperately against true right-handed hitters.
Contrarian Plays

- OF Rajai Davis (56K), Athletics (at Mariners): Davis has already been caught stealing half as many times as he was in 2016, and he has stolen 39 fewer bases. He is getting on base at a rate of just .280 against righties, but should he reach, Tuesday, it'll be against a Mariners team which has thrown out just six of 26 attempted steals.
- 1B Jose Abreu (59K), White Sox (at Angels): Abreu has walked more than he has struck out over his past seven games. He has scored in three consecutive outings, and he hit a two-run homer in Monday's game. It was his first extra-base in seven contests, but his slugging percentage is up over .500 for May.
- SS Jose Reyes (44K), Mets (at Diamondbacks): The switch-hitting Reyes has fared similarly against lefties and righties for his career, with a slight preference for the soutpaws. His 2017 splits are dramatic, with a strong preference for right-handers. His OBP is identical in each half, but his average rises 110 points versus righties. He has been hitting atop the order in the strong side of his split.
