Watch: Scherzer stars in PSA alongside dog with same eye condition
Brad Mills / USA TODAY Sports
Max Scherzer is famous for a couple things: being incredibly good at throwing baseballs, and having two different-colored eyes.
The Washington Nationals' ace used the latter power for good, costarring in an ad campaign for the Humane Rescue Alliance alongside Glee, who also has heterochromia of the eyes.
Those watching the ad and empathizing with Glee will be relieved to know that this particular very good dog has already found its forever home with a family in Washington, D.C. according to the Humane Rescue Alliance.
Whether Scherzer's actual dog, Rocco - who also has two different-colored eyes - has seen the ad and is jealous remains to be seen.
