Tim Tebow had his first shining moment as a professional baseball player.
In Arizona Fall League action, Tebow stepped up with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the ninth of a tie game. It's a scenario every kid dreams of - minus the fact that it's in a summer league littered with minor leaguers.
That backyard dream usually ends with a home run, rounding the bases, and being swarmed by your teammates at home plate. Not for Tebow.
Instead, the hulking New York Mets employee guided a cheeky three-hopper perfectly down the third-base line for the walk-off single.
His teammates did in fact swarm him in the infield, a moment he'll never forget as Tim Tebow, minor-league Arizona Fall League hero.
