Igarashi signed a three-year deal with the Softbank Hawks, the Kyodo news service reports. He'll make up to 600 million yen per year in in his return to Japan.
Igarashi played for the Blue Jays and the Yankees last season, but spent all but four games in the minors. At age 34 next season, we've likely seen the last of him in MLB.
