Cubs' Hector Rondon: Expected to be activated Tuesday

Rondon (triceps) is expected to be activated from the DL on Tuesday, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Reports over the weekend suggested Rondon could return Monday, but the team will wait an extra day before bringing him back from the disabled list. Rondon, who threw a simulated game Saturday, hasn't pitched since Aug. 16.
