Alex Rodriguez unleashed a week of pent-up adrenaline Friday after notching a dramatic RBI double in the first at-bat of his final game in pinstripes.
A-Rod, who's indicated the Yankees' series opener against the Rays would be his final major-league game, left little to the imagination after ripping the 548th double of his career.
The big hit followed a rain-soaked farewell ceremony in the Bronx, where A-Rod received a framed Yankees jersey and was congratulated by former teammate Mariano Rivera, among others.
