Jason Kipnis provided an update to Indians fans Saturday after departing Cleveland's 6-0 win in the seventh inning due to what one reporter described as an "illness."

Kipnis' deadpan humor capped another good day for the Indians, who have now won a season-high eight straight games to extend their lead in the Central to five games over Kansas City.

Kipnis, who went 1-for-3 in Saturday's win over Detroit, assured fans his exit was nothing more than just general soreness, as later clarified by Hoynes.
