Marlins' Derek Dietrich: X-rays on head come back negative
The X-ray on Dietrich's head came back negative, but he'll still be evaluated overnight in Atlanta.
Analysis:
Dietrich was in the dugout when a foul ball struck him on the back of the head Sunday. Amid concussion and other concerns, he was removed from the game and taken back to be evaluated by team doctors. He's still considered day-to-day, but it's unlikely that he'll be in the Marlins' lineup for Monday's matchup with the Pirates.
