Watch: Colon's slow trot gets 'Chariots of Fire' treatment

From Andy Green to James Shields, Gary Cohen and the Mets' Spanish broadcasting team, Saturday night's Bartolo-blast was difficult to put into words.

Thanks to one Twitter user, the theme music to "Chariots of Fire" is all you need to relieve the magic.

The slow-to-build track works well with Colon's leisurely trot, which, at 30.58 seconds, is the slowest by a pitcher in major-league history, according to Tater Trot Tracker. Colon's stroll also ranked as the 11th slowest trot ever recorded, dating back to 2010 when these sorts of stats began being tracked.

Colon's majestic homer was also broken down by the good folks at MLB StatCast, which measured the exit velocity (96.8 mph), launch angle (35 degrees), projected hang time (5.9 seconds), and projected distance (365 feet).
