Corporan accounted for Houston's only hit of the game in Monday's 2-1 loss to Texas. His eighth inning home run off Yu Darvish was his seventh of the season.
Corporan drew his second consecutive start in place of Jason Castro (hip). The 29-year-old continues to show terrible plate discipline but the power production is nice in limited plate appearances.
