 Texas is 5-1 this season against the Angels and 15-10 in the series since the start of last season. Since the start of 2019, Texas pitching has a 3.94 ERA against the Angels and a 5.20 ERA against all other opponents.

 The Angels lost two out of three games at home to the Diamondbacks but are still 9-6 in September. The Angels' bullpen has blown four of its last seven save opportunities, and Los Angeles has an MLB-worst 40.9 save percentage this season.

Dylan Bundy might feel like he has some making up to do when he takes the mound for the Los Angeles Angels on Monday afternoon in the finale of their four-game series against the Texas Rangers in Anaheim, Calif.
Bundy is coming off his worst outing of the season for the Angels (23-31), and his poor performance Wednesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks couldn't have come at a worse time.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP)  Jared Walsh was a 39th-round pick who got a humble $3,000 signing bonus from the Los Angeles Angels. He used his cash to pay for an offseason of workouts, and then he never stopped grinding.
Five years later, the 27-year-old rookie is the AL's leader in slugging percentage for September, and he's standing out in a lineup featuring Mike Trout, Anthony Rendon and Albert Pujols.
