 Following a seven-game losing streak to start September, Kansas City has won seven of its last eight, including a 2-game split against the Tigers on Wednesday and Thursday. The Royals were shutout, 6-0, in the first game, but followed with a shutout of their own in the second (4-0).

 The Brewers won their five-game series against the Cardinals, 3-2, after shutting them out in the final game (6-0). Milwaukee has three shutouts since September 9 after having just two this season prior. During that span, the only other team with 3+ shutouts is Kansas City.

Ryan Braun could be playing his final game at Miller Park on Sunday and he will attempt to keep his hot streak going when the Milwaukee Brewers host the Kansas City Royals in the finale of three-game set.
Braun slugged a three-run homer in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Royals and is batting .389 (14-for-36) with five homers and 16 RBIs in September.

Braun-led Brewers looking to sweep visiting Royals

MILWAUKEE (AP)  Daniel Vogelbach belted a pair of homers and drove in all five runs as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Kansas City Royals 5-3 on Sunday to sweep the three-game interleague matchup.
Vogelbach, claimed by the Brewers off waivers earlier this month, hit a two-run home run to straightaway center with two outs in the first off Brad Keller (4-3). He blasted a three-run opposite-field shot to chase Keller in the sixth. Vogelbach has three home runs since joining the Brewers and five on the season.
