 After losing seven in a row, Seattle has gong 8-4, averaging 5.0 runs. The Mariners are hitting .258 in their last 12 games, including .287 with runners in scoring position. In their previous seven games they hit .186 as a team, going .136 with runners in scoring position.

 Seattle swept its most recent series against Texas in Seattle after the Rangers took two-of-three games in the previous series this season. Since 2018, the Mariners are 14-9 against the Rangers at home compared to 8-13 in Arlington.

Rangers look to youth vs. streaking Mariners

SEATTLE (AP)  Dylan Moore hit a solo home run and added a three-run double, Kyle Seager hit a two-run home run and the surging Seattle Mariners beat the Texas Rangers 8-4 on Monday for their first six-game winning streak since July 2019.
Seattle completed a four-game sweep of the Rangers, who have lost six straight. The Mariners are 11-3 after an 8-19 start, on their longest winning streak streak since July 24-30 last year against Detroit and Texas.
