The Rays and Braves now head north to Atlanta for two games after Tampa Bay took two games in Florida. The Braves are 8-5 all-time against the Rays in Atlanta, and have won five straight interleague home games -- their longest home winning streak against AL teams since a six-game run in 2011.

The Braves will play at home for the first time this season after averaging 5.35 runs at Atlanta in 2019 -- their highest scoring average at home in a single season since averaging 5.36 runs in 1996

Mike Soroka, however, didn't enjoy the same success in Atlanta last season, posting a 4.14 ERA in 13 home starts compared to a 1.55 ERA in 16 on the road. That difference in ERA from home to road of 2.59 was the worst in MLB among qualifiers (road better) and the fourth worst by a Brave pitcher in the live-ball era.

The Braves struck out 31 times in the two games at Tampa Bay, bringing their season total to 64 to tie the 2019 Cardinals for the most strikeouts by a team through five games of a season in the live-ball era. Ronald Acuna Jr. has struck out 12 times, and in the live-ball era, only two players have more strikeouts through five games -- Phillies' Pat Burrell with 13 in 2001, and Twins' Byron Buxton with 13 in 2017.

The Rays, meanwhile, have struck out 58 batters, and in the live-ball era, only three AL teams have racked up more strikeouts through five games -- 1966 Indians with 63, 2019 Blue Jays with 62 and 2020 Indians with 61.

Brandon Lowe doubled, tripled and walked twice in the two games against the Braves, and has now reached base 10 times on the season. The last Tampa Bay left-handed hitter to reach base at least 10 times through five games was Carlos Pena, who reached base 11 times in the first five games in 2012.

The Rays won the first two games of the two-city, four-game set played in Tampa, but the Braves came back to win their home opener 7-4 on Wednesday in Atlanta.
