 Texas and Houston meet for their final two games against one another, with the Astros having won the last five meetings and leading the season series 11-6. Over the five-game streak against Texas, Houston's pitching staff has a 2.68 ERA and .170 opponent batting average.

 The Astros had a three-game sweep of the Royals over the weekend, scoring 22 total runs. Houston has an .856 OPS against AL teams this season, on pace to be the highest intraleague mark since the 1936 Yankees (.864).
