 The Rangers have lost or tied 11 consecutive series on the road since sweeping a three-game set in Detroit from June 25-27. Texas, which is 2-8 at Camden Yards since 2016, hasn't failed to win a series of more than two games away from home 12 straight times since May 3-July 14, 1985.

 After scoring just twice over the final two games of their series with the Yankees that ended Wednesday, the Rangers are averaging 3.14 runs per game on the road since the All-Star break, the lowest mark among AL teams. Texas averaged 5.11 runs per game away from home prior to the break.

 Hanser Alberto's 79 hits off left-handed pitchers this season are the most by any player since Seattle's Ichiro Suzuki had 84 in 2004. Before joining the Orioles via waivers in the offseason, Alberto spent nine years in the Texas organization and played in 89 games for the Rangers from 2015-18.

 Anthony Santander enters the series batting .432 (16-for-37) with five homers and 12 RBI over a career-high nine-game hitting streak. His .329 average at Camden Yards this season ranks sixth among AL players in home games (min. 150 PA).

 Shin-Soo Choo has homered in six of his last 13 games at Camden Yards and his .354 career average there is the third-highest among active players with at least 125 plate appearances (Josh Reddick, .357; Robinson Cano, .356).

The visiting Texas Rangers have seen their offense come to life in the last two games, and they'll try to find more of the same as they go for a four-game sweep of the struggling Baltimore Orioles on Sunday.
The Rangers' offense hadn't done well over a three-game period, but bounced back for seven runs in Friday's win and then came through again in a 9-4 victory over the Orioles on Saturday. That game saw the first six Texas batters score, as the Rangers posted six runs on just three hits in the opening inning.

BALTIMORE (AP)  The Texas Rangers appear to have their offense operating at full efficiency again, just in time for a closing three-week stretch against some of the best teams in the American League.
Rookie Nick Solak had three hits and four RBIs, Ronald Guzman and Rougned Odor homered and the Rangers beat the Orioles 10-4 Sunday to complete their first four-game sweep at Baltimore in 37 years.
