 The Rangers completed a three-game sweep of the Tigers over the weekend, and have now won four games in a row. Texas is 16-7 against the AL Central this season, including a 2-2 mark against Cleveland.

 Cleveland completed a three-game sweep of the Angels over the weekend, outscoring Los Angeles, 20-7, in the process. Cleveland's 38-16 (.704) record and its +91 run differential since June 1 are both tops in the majors over that time.

 Carlos Santana has 78 walks this season, giving him his eighth season with Cleveland with 75+ walks, tying Jim Thome for most in franchise history. Santana ranks third in club history with 804 walks, trailing Thome (1008) and Tris Speaker (857).

 Rougned Odor has hit 126 home runs in his career, the second most all-time by a left-handed middle infielder in his first six career MLB seasons (Chase Utley -- 130). Of the 122 players with at least 2500 plate appearances since 2014, Odor ranks 120th with a .293 on-base percentage.

 In five starts in July, Mike Minor compiled a 6.59 ERA, and the Rangers went 1-4 in those starts. Minor has allowed at least four earned runs in four straight starts, after only allowing four or more earned runs twice in his first 18 outings of the season.

 With over a month left in his fifth MLB season, Francisco Lindor has recorded 295 extra-base hits, tied with Lance Berkman for third most by a switch-hitter through as many seasons all-time. Mark Teixeira (365) has the most, followed by Ruben Sierra (298).
