 The Rays took two of three from the Orioles in April in their only series of the season in Tampa. The Rays have won 14 of the last 17 matchups in Tampa and have won six consecutive home series against Baltimore -- the longest such streak in franchise history.

 The Rays are 7-12 since June 11, averaging 6.3 runs in their wins but just 2.4 runs in their defeats. They've won 12 consecutive games when scoring at least five and have MLB's fourth-best record when reaching the five-run mark at 34-5 (.872).

 All-Star Austin Meadows compiled a .206/.274/.299 slash line in June for a .573 OPS after entering the month slashing .354/.431/.673 for a 1.105 OPS. His difference in OPS of .532 was the largest dropoff in MLB over that span among batting qualifiers.

 The Orioles took two of three from the Indians over the weekend to win their first series since beating the White Sox twice in three games from April 22-24. That ended a stretch of 18 consecutive series played without a win -- the longest in a single season since the franchise moved to Baltimore in 1954.

 Trey Mancini drove in three runs in Saturday's 13-0 win over Cleveland to give him 40 RBI on the season. The Orioles, however, are just 8-21 in games in which he has driven in a run. That .276 team winning percentage is by far the worst among the 99 batters with at least 25 games with one or more RBI.

 Dylan Bundy, Tuesday's scheduled starter, has lost his last four starts to drop his season record to 3-10. He is the first Oriole with 10 losses before July since Sidney Ponson had 11 in 2004.

After finishing their first losing month in over a year, the Tampa Bay Rays take a little momentum into July and the start of a three-game series with the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The Rays went 13-16 in June but won three of their final four games, capped by Sunday's 6-2 win over the visiting Texas Rangers behind a 12-strikeout effort by reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell. That gave Tampa Bay its first series victory since taking three of four at Boston on June 7-9.

Rays look for third straight as Orioles visit

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Brendan McKay had a rough debut as a hitter for Tampa Bay going hitless in the Rays' win over Baltimore.
McKay went 0-for-4 in Tampa Bay's 6-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night.
