 The Dodgers swept the Rockies in three games in their last series, hitting a walk-off home run in each of the three games. All three walk-off home runs were hit by rookies -- prior to this series, the Dodgers had never had three walk-off home runs by rookies in an entire season.

 The Diamondbacks ended a six-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory in 10 innings over the Giants. Arizona has seven extra-inning wins this season, tied with Atlanta and Pittsburgh for the most in MLB.

 The Dodgers have the NL's best record in divisional games at 23-8 (.742) this season, while the D'Backs have the NL's worst record in divisional games at 12-24 (.333). Los Angeles already has two series victories over Arizona this season, and a 9-1-0 overall series record against NL West opponents.

 Former teammates Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke will oppose each other for just the second time ever. Kershaw got the best of Greinke in their first matchup, a 7-1 Dodgers' win on April 14, 2017. Since joining Arizona in 2016, Greinke is 5-7 with a 4.93 ERA against the Dodgers (includes postseason).

 With a week's worth of games left in June, Cody Bellinger has 25 home runs. Bellinger, 23 years old, is one of three left-handed batters 23 or younger (based on season age; July 1) with at least 25 home runs in a season prior to July, along with Prince Fielder (27 in 2007) and Reggie Jackson (29 in 1969).

 Through 75 games this season, Ketel Marte has 41 extra-base hits, 51 RBI and 51 runs scored. He is one of four Diamondback players all-time with at least 40 XBH, 50 RBI and 50 runs through 75 player games in a season, along with Paul Goldschmidt (2014), Luis Gonzalez (2001) and Matt Williams (1999).

Los Angeles right-hander Ross Stripling is scheduled to make his first start since April 25 when the Dodgers play the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday in Phoenix.
Stripling (3-2, 3.08 ERA) will get the call to fill the spot of left-hander Rich Hill, who was placed on the injured list last week due to a forearm injury. Hill is expected to be out until at least early August.
