After winning just three games against the Red Sox all of last season, the Orioles have already won three against the Sox this season. Boston won two of three in Baltimore in early May, including a 2-1 win in 12 innings on May 8 as the teams combined for 33 strikeouts.

Boston has won two straight games after losing five of its previous six games to bring its record back to above .500. Both wins were decided by one run -- the Red Sox are 11-8 in one-run games this season, fourth best in the American League.

The Orioles haven't won a series since April 22-24 against the White Sox. They have lost 11 consecutive series, the longest active series losing streak in MLB and tied for the longest series losing streak in franchise history.

In his first 38 games this season, Jackie Bradley Jr. hit .144 with a .421 OPS, including hitting .079 on breaking balls. Since then, he is hitting .307 with a 1.056 OPS and has hit .348 on breaking balls.

Eduardo Rodriguez is 4-0 with a 1.65 ERA against the Orioles since last season in six appearances. He went 6.2 innings against the O's on April 12, striking out eight and allowing just three hits and two runs.
