 Cleveland lost two of three in its home series with Cincinnati in 2018, but since 2010 the Indians have gone 17-6 at home against the Reds. The Indians put up 19 runs last time these teams met in Cleveland (July 11, 2018), a mark the Indians have not topped since.

 Cincinnati started its season 0-7 in road games but has since gone 14-13, and are one of four NL teams with a winning record on the road over that span (since April 18; Braves, Dodgers, Diamondbacks).

 The Indians have hit multiple home runs in six straight games -- their last longer streak of multi-homer games came in 1997 (seven straight). There have only been two longer such streaks in MLB this season, done once by the Cubs (eight) and once by the A's (seven).

 Joey Votto has posted a .412/.446/.529 slash line with six RBI in his last 12 games. In his first 46 games this season, he posted a .208/.318/.333 slash line with seven RBI.

 Francisco Lindor has 12 hits in June, four more than any other Indians player. He is also the only American Leaguer with at least three doubles and three home runs this month. There are eight National Leaguers to have met those marks.

Buckeye State bragging rights will be on the line Tuesday when the Cleveland Indians kick off the final leg of their eight-game homestand with the opener of a two-game interleague series against the Cincinnati Reds.
The Indians captured the Ohio Cup after winning four of six meetings with the Reds last season, although Cincinnati emerged victorious in two of the three games in Cleveland.
