The Twins are 9-3 at home against the Tigers since last season and have won each of the last four. Since 2018, the Twins are 60-37 (.619) at home compared to 41-59 (.410) on the road -- that .209 difference in win percentage is the second largest in MLB (Phillies, .222).

The Tigers have alternated wins and losses in each of their last nine games, losing two of three in their last series against the Angels. The Tigers haven't won back-to-back games since winning two game of a doubleheader against the Red Sox on April 23.

Tigers hope to split series against Twins

MINNEAPOLIS (AP)  Daniel Norris rediscovered his rhythm, Nicholas Castellanos maintained his and the Detroit Tigers left Minnesota with a series split.
Norris turned in his longest outing since 2017 and, backed by Castellanos' three hits, led the Tigers to a 5-3 victory over the Twins on Sunday in the finale of a four-game set.
