The Blue Jays took three of four in Minnesota when they met the Twins from April 15-18. Toronto scored at least five runs in each of its victories in the series and averaged 4.8 runs across the four games, nearly a full run higher than its season-long mark of 3.9 runs per game.

The Twins lost yesterday and dropped two of three to the Yankees in New York, snapping a streak of two consecutive series wins. Minnesota has gone 9-2 (.818) this season following losses, the best record in MLB.

Marcus Stroman has faced 187 batters without allowing a home run, the fourth-longest active streak in MLB. He has made seven starts this season -- with one more homerless outing, Stroman will tie Dave Stieb (1989), Al Leiter (1995) and Roger Clemens (1998) for the longest streaks of starts without allowing a home run to begin a season in franchise history.

Perez and a pair of Minnesota relievers combined on a three-hitter, Eddie Rosario hit his AL-leading 12th home run and the Twins blanked the Toronto Blue Jays 8-0 on Monday night.
