The Reds and Mets split six games in 2018, each winning their home series 2-1. New York has gone 11-2 against Cincinnati at home since 2015, tied for the best home record by any National League team against a single opponent in that span (ChC 11-2 vs. NYM, Cin 11-2 vs. Phi, min. 10 games).

He is the fourth pitcher in the live-ball era (since 1920) to strike out at least 11 batters, allow zero earned runs and pick up two extra-base hits in the same game, and the first since Madison Bumgarner in 2015.
