 The Twins fell to the Blue Jays, 7-4, at home on Thursday, dropping three games of the four-game set. Toronto had a five-run fourth inning yesterday, the fourth time this season Minnesota has allowed at least five runs in an inning, tied with Oakland for the most in baseball.

 Eddie Rosario recorded his seventh career multi-homer game yesterday and his first since May 11 of last season. It was the first time in those seven games that the Twins have lost.

 Since the start of the 2015 season, these teams have traded winning streaks -- Minnesota won seven straight, then the Orioles won five in a row, followed by six Twins wins, and then three Orioles wins. Minnesota has now won the last six games between these teams, outscoring Baltimore 39-11.

 The Orioles beat the Rays, 6-5, in Florida on Thursday, avoiding a three-game sweep. Baltimore is 8-3 when holding opponents to five runs or fewer, but 0-9 when allowing six or more.

 Alex Cobb will come off the disabled list to start for Baltimore. In his only start of the season, he allowed two runs -- both solo homers - in 5.2 innings against the Yankees on April 4. Cobb has given up 53 homers in 63 starts since the start of 2016.

 Jose Berrios will be on the mound for Minnesota seeking his fifth quality start in as many outings this year. Among pitchers with at least 20 innings this season, his .158 opponent batting average ranks third in the AL.

BALTIMORE (AP)  Eddie Rosario and the Minnesota Twins bashed their way into the team record book with a power display that began in the late afternoon and extended well into the night.
With Rosario leading the way, the Twins hit 11 home runs in a doubleheader sweep of the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday, squeezing out a 6-5 victory before cracking eight long balls in a 16-7 rout.
