 Minnesota dropped two of three games in Philadelphia this weekend, after opening the season 4-1. The Twins hit six home runs in the Philadelphia series after hitting just one in their first five games.

 Jorge Polanco went 5-for-5 in Friday's loss to the Phillies, a career high in hits. Polanco has a .364 career batting average with a .954 OPS in 33 interleague games, compared to a .265 average and .738 OPS against American League opponents.

The Mets' top two pitchers will be on display during a brief two-game interleague series against the visiting Twins that begins Tuesday night, when reigning National League Cy Young Award winner Jacob deGrom takes the mound against Minnesota.

NEW YORK (AP)  The records set at Citi Field on Tuesday night were for balls clearing the fence with unprecedented frequency, not Jacob deGrom establishing a mark for consistency.
DeGrom's record-tying string of quality starts ended at 26 when he allowed two home runs to Mitch Garver and one to Eddie Rosario in a 14-8 drubbing by the Minnesota Twins, the worst outing in two years for the New York Mets ace.
