Houston won the season series against Texas in 2018, winning 12 of the 19 games. The Astros have won each of the last eight games in Arlington, tied for the longest active road winning streak against any single opponent in MLB.

The Astros lost their opening series in Tampa Bay, losing three of four and scoring only nine runs in the entire series. Last season, the Astros averaged 5.23 runs per game on the road, third best in MLB.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP)  Slugger Joey Gallo has played a key role late in all three wins by the Texas Rangers this season, and with more than the long ball.
Gallo grounded a hard single through the right side of the infield, a tiebreaking two-run hit in the seventh inning that went between two diving infielders as the Rangers beat the Houston Astros 6-4 on Tuesday night.
