South Koreans Sei Young Kim and I.K. Kim finished the second round of the Lotte Championship tied for the lead at 10 under.
A day after she was in last place, I.K. Kim's first-round 65 put her ahead of her fellow countryman. But a second straight 67 propelled Sei Young Kim into a tie for top spot, while other South Koreans rounded out the top five.
Third-ranked Inbee Park (70) is three shots back, while Chella Choi (68) and Jenny Shin (70) finished the second round tied for fourth at 6 under par.
Defending champion Michelle Wie is still within striking distance, finishing the day at 5 under par, good for a seventh-place tie.
