Ronaldo surpasses Zarra, moves into 2nd on La Liga's all-time scoring list

Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't have time for the haters.
Whistled by his home fans at the Santiago Bernabeu early in Saturday's match against Celta Vigo, the Portuguese star answered his critics by responding with four goals, and in the process confirming what has long been known: he's one of the most potent scorers in football history.

Only a certain Lionel Messi has scored more goals (305) in Spain's top flight than Ronaldo, who needed just 228 matches to surpass Zarra, the Athletic Bilbao legend.
