Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi was forced to leave Saturday's match against Las Palmas in the ninth minute with a knee injury, going down after an earlier collision and, after trying to play through the knock, leaving the pitch and heading directly down the tunnel.
Messi sustained the injury after darting into the penalty area and colliding with Pedro Bigas while attempting a left-footed shot.

It was revealed after the match that the Argentine suffered a tear in the MCL of his left knee, and will miss 7-8 weeks.
