Barcelona could be without its first-choice 'keeper for its biggest match of the young season.
The club confirmed Tuesday that Claudio Bravo is dealing with a left calf strain, and the Chilean is now in jeopardy of missing Saturday's highly anticipated contest against fellow La Liga powerhouse Atletico Madrid.
"He will be closely monitored over the coming days and his availability for this weekend's match at Atlético de Madrid will be determined based on how the injury evolves," the club said in a brief statement.
Bravo, who started each of Barcelona's opening two league matches - a pair of 1-0 victories - would make way for Marc-Andre Ter Stegen should he be deemed unavailable for the match at the Vicente Calderon.
