Manchester United will be without a quartet of players when they host Valencia in Champions League action Tuesday.
Manager Jose Mourinho revealed that Ashley Young will miss the encounter after picking up an unspecified injury during United's loss to West Ham on Saturday. He's the latest to go out injured, joining Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera, and Jesse Lingard on a growing list of players set to miss the midweek clash.
"Apart from Marcos Rojo, now we have Ander Herrera, Ashley Young and Jesse Lingard out," Mourinho told MUTV. "I prefer the doctor to speak, but they are not in (the right) conditions."
Antonio Valencia or Diogo Dalot are expected to deputize for Young at right-back, while Scott McTominay could make a return as a central defender after the Scotland international made his debut at the position against West Ham.
Manchester United are winless in their last three matches but defeated Young Boys 3-0 in their first Champions League game and now take on a Valencia side that lost 2-0 to 10-man Juventus in its opening match of the group stage.
