Diego Costa has made it clear he wants to rejoin Atletico Madrid.
The ostracised Chelsea forward showed off his old Atletico kit on Instagram as he enjoyed a small get-together in his native Brazil on Sunday.
The Blues gave Costa permission to skip the club's pre-season commitments after manager Antonio Conte told the striker he was no longer needed.
Atletico is reportedly in talks to re-sign the 28-year-old - even if it's currently operating within the strictures of a FIFA-imposed transfer ban.
If a deal were to happen, Costa would have to forfeit several months of football. Atletico cannot register any new players until the ban expires on Jan. 1, 2018.
Costa won the La Liga title with the Rojiblancos in 2014 and joined Chelsea later that summer, scoring 52 goals in 89 Premier League appearances.
