Real Madrid jumped out to a 1-0 lead on city rivals Atletico Madrid on Saturday after Pepe's header in the 52nd minute went beyond Jan Oblak's outstretched hands.
The Portuguese defender delivered his first goal since September after waiting patiently for Toni Kroos' curving cross into the box and thumping a header into the far corner of the net.
