Messi blocks Miss BumBum after Brazilian model posts lewd photos

Brazilian model Suzy Cortez probably hasn't cracked a smile since Lionel Messi and his wife blocked her on Instagram.

Cortez, the 2015 winner of the Miss BumBum contest, revealed that the Barcelona star blocked her from sending him photos on the social media website.

She claims the Argentine's partner, Antonella Roccuzzo, became wary of several cheeky pictures of Cortez in a Messi jersey.

"I was completely shocked when I spotted it," Cortez told The Sun. "If I could, I would tell her not to be worried about me, I'm just a fan. I'm surprised that she isn't more sure of herself."

Cortez speculated that there's only one reason behind Messi's decision to block her: "I only follow about 10 people, and he was one of them. So when I saw that I was blocked I thought it could only be jealousy. Why would he block me if he has 40 million followers? Then I checked her profile and confirmed she had also blocked me."

In the meantime, Cortez will continue to celebrate her title as Miss BumBum until the 2016 competition rolls around in November.
