Report: Juventus closely monitoring United forward Rashford
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford's future at the club has been a bone of contention for some time, and it appears he has at least one high-profile suitor.
The 21-year-old is a target for Italian champions Juventus, and the Bianconeri have compiled a detailed dossier on the young star, The Times' Paul Joyce reports.
Juventus have been tracking the progress of the attacker since before his substitute appearance in United's 2-1 win at Allianz Stadium in early November. That includes checks on Rashford's background and his personal characteristics, as well as his on-field ability and form.
Rashford made his first-team debut for United under Louis van Gaal in February 2016. This season, under Van Gaal's successor, Jose Mourinho, he has started just five Premier League games, a selection policy which has intensified speculation over his future in Salford.
It is for England that Rashford has really been allowed to shine, regularly lining up on one side of three-pronged attack. He was a thorn in Croatia's side in the Nations League clash on Sunday, which was Rashford's 16th Three Lions appearance in 2018. That mark equals Jack Charlton's 1966 record for a calendar year.
The Wythenshawe native has 18 months left on his current United deal and the club holds a one-year extension option.
