Good things happen in threes.

Olympique Lyonnais announced Wednesday that Nabil Fekir, Corentin Tolisso, and Anthony Lopes have decided to continue their adventure with the club, signing contract extensions through 2020.

With no disrespect to Tolisso and Lopes, who were both pivotal figures in Lyon's second-place finish in Ligue 1 last season, Fekir's contract extension is the one that's likely triggering the largest celebrations.

The 21-year-old, whose contract was set to expire in 2019, is establishing himself as one of the most versatile players in Europe, capable of playing as a centre forward or as an attacking midfielder, and notched 13 goals and nine assists through 34 Ligue 1 appearances last season while averaging 2.6 shots per game.

A genius with the ball at his feet, Fekir is fearless in one-on-one situations.

Tolisso, meanwhile, bagged seven goals and two assists while appearing in all 38 of Lyon's Ligue 1 fixtures, earning a reputation as one of the top distributors of the ball in the league.

And Lopes locked up the role of Lyon's first-choice 'keeper, helping the club return to the Champions League with his quick reflexes between the posts.
