Barcola ruled out for a 'few weeks' with ankle injury
Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola has been ruled out for "the next few weeks" with an ankle injury, the Champions League holders said Wednesday.
The France international hobbled off just before the hour mark of PSG's Champions League last-16 second leg at Chelsea on Tuesday.
PSG said he had "suffered a severe ligament sprain in his right ankle".
The French side went on to win the game 3-0 and the tie 8-2 on aggregate to set up a quarter-final against either Galatasaray or Liverpool.
Barcola scored in both legs against Chelsea, his first goals in the competition since February last year.
Paris are back in action this weekend at Nice, hoping to extend their one-point lead over Lens at the top of Ligue 1.
Barcola has been in fine form in recent weeks, netting five times in his last six appearances.
