Monaco fight back to draw with Nice after Fati penalty double

Monaco and Nice played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the principality Sunday.
Sofiane Diop gave the 12th-placed visitors the lead on 29 minutes, before Nice went down to 10 men five minutes later as Ali Abdi saw red for two bookable offences.
Diop nonetheless doubled Nice's lead in the 42nd minute from the penalty spot after VAR adjudged Krepin Diatta to have handled in the area.
But the hosts fought back through two Ansu Fati spot-kicks, the first coming deep into first-half injury time and the second four minutes shy of the hour mark.
The draw leaves Monaco in fifth, two points off top, while Nice are in the bottom half on eight.
