Fekir's 95th-minute free-kick lifts Lyon to win over Monaco
The Ligue 1 battle between Olympique Lyonnais and AS Monaco was nothing short of entertaining.
After a first half that featured four goals in 23 minutes, it looked as though Lyon and Monaco were destined to play out a draw. Nabil Fekir appeared to tally the winning goal in the 90th minute, but it was chalked off for offside.
Refusing to be denied the winner, Fekir rocketed a 25-yard free-kick past Danijel Subasic's outstretched fingertips in the 95th minute, giving Lyon a 3-2 victory over the reigning champion and three points in the fight for third place in Ligue 1.
