Wolves send Zimbabwean midfielder Munetsi on loan to Paris FC
Zimbabwean international midfielder Marshall Munetsi has joined Paris FC on a six-month loan from Wolves, the French Ligue 1 club announced on Friday.
The 29-year-old, who has already spent six years in France playing for Reims between 2019 and 2025, joined Wolves in the last winter transfer window.
He has made 13 Premier League appearances this season, scoring once in a 3-2 defeat by Burnley.
"He's a profile we didn't have, a player with great athletic power, a box-to-box midfielder," said Paris FC coach Stephane Gilli.
"He is capable of operating in several roles in midfield. He has even played centre-back from time to time."
Paris FC are currently 15th in Ligue 1, two points above the relegation play-off spot.
"He'll give us a bit more impact, a bit more size," Gilli added.
"He has leadership qualities. He may not be the most vocal in the dressing room or in training but in matches he'll bring energy."
The Zimbabwean is the newly promoted side's second winter signing, after Italy youth international Luca Koleosho joined on loan from Burnley.
